ABOUT US
Basenjis 'R' Us consists of humans Peter and Sandra Wood and our wonderful extended family of Basenjis. We specialise in the breeding and boarding of purebred Basenjis. Our breeder's prefix, registered with the Australian National Kennel Council, is Kipenzi. Basenjis have been owned and loved by us since 1979. Our kennels represent a substantial commitment to the breed, with all four (formally recognised) breed colours represented within our family.

A colour you may not recognise is displayed by Mlia. She is a brindle or Tiger-striped bitch and one of the first litter of the brindle variety to be available in Australia (born 1997).

We provide quality, not quantity Basenji puppies. Additional care is taken to match bitch and stud dog so the puppies produced are most likely to conform to the Basenji Standard and have a pleasant temperament. The latter is of great importance, whether the puppy is an intended show champion or family companion. Aspects of the intended parents' lineage and medical history are checked prior to their selection as partners.
